The problem was a loose throttle cable. Tightened it back up and it runs normal now.

No recent changes to the sled and the carb boots and airbox look fine. I thought an air leak would cause a lean condition and make it idle higher?

I haven't done it, I run mine in the narrow setting. When I first bought my sled I also heard about the convertible ski stance and looked into how to change it if wanted but I'm quite happy with the handling in the narrow setting.

I am looking for suggestions for carbide to run on a 6.9 pilot ski. I was looking at the woodys slim Jim dual runner. I think this carbide is designed more for on trail use but would there be any detriment to off-trail performance? Other than a little extra weight.Thanks
