Dead serious, Doolaid Boy. I was surprised as my Doo-riding buddies that the XM was still outsold by the Pro this year. If you have some super secret source for mountain sled sales that shows Doo beating Polaris in mountain sled sales, put it up.
This is from the Jan./Feb., 2014 issue of Snowtech :

"Ski-Doo would also like selling more mountain sleds. As good as their Summit models work, Polaris is still selling more RMKs."

Since the Pro came out, this has been the case. Every year, you Doo tards make me find a reputable source to back this up. In the end, it really doesn't matter. The majority of well informed consumers have been buying the best all-around mountain sled for four years now. Hopefully, Doo will claim this title for 2015, then Polaris will be forced to finally give us an engine worthy of the Pro chassis.

I don't know about anyone else, but whenever I go to vale or revy, Not only does doo out number the pros, but all the other brands combined.. That speaks for it's self when it comes to sales in my mind

The reason why poo would out sell the xm is cause you need 2 pros to ride all year! Ride one while the other is in the shop then switch next weekend. As for track length on the new xm everyone think back to 2000-2001 when set bar for track length with the 151. Everyone was say that was way to long no body is going to like that. Now a dozen years later if a guy shows up to go riding with anything less then a 154 he gets laughed at for a short track. So I bet 10 years from now we will look back at the 163 and wonder how we did it with a short track!

Others will Catch up, some will pass then be past.....

All that Doo did was get the factory to build what every one was doing to there machines after Market. It is a good thing since it is usually cheaper direct from factory. Also shows they are listening to customers.

As for Big Tech changes that will change the world.....Not seeing anything that Great or am I missing something since there site wont load out here?!

I am not here to argue sales for this year as I have not seen the market data for this past year. I can tell you that in Alberta Skidoo outsells Polaris most of the time. We have dealers still with Pro's on the floor all around us where for the most part the XM's have been gone since the first of the year. I heard the Martin Motorsports group is now the largest Doo dealer in North America. Maybe T Team can give us some insight on that? There will always be pockets where one brand is more prevalent than another. On my last few trips to West Yellowstone the Doo's were badly outnumbered by Polaris and Cats. I wouldn't be surprised Doo sells more sleds in Canada and the others gain larger shares in the US? Would make sense? What do you guys think?

Back on topic.Yes the competition can and will catch up.Personally that huge school bus is not for me.I like the 3" 163,they should also offer a 154 3".Doo needs too lose some weight. Old dude like me needs a light weight sled like my pro.Skidoo seems to be setting the bar high on the prices as well.Lots of doolaid consumed on this site,Alberta dealers must give it away for free.
doolaide is plentiful and free. it's main ingredient is the tears of the other manufacturers and their riders'. since the 2015 reveal, there seems to be a surplus....lots of doolaide to go around.

There is one reason the Pro outsells the rest. It's a better sled. You just have to get the chance to ride all of them the same day.

Ya the '00 High Mark introduced the Long Track Sally. 10 yrs later some of us still prefer some fun and challenge while riding and await the full cycle back to 146's. Hopefully in '15 and I will be the first to thank Doo for making the obvious really obvious.

If I had a rental business I would buy a few of the T-motion 174 T3's. I'd mount them in the bigger parking lots with a coin op thing attached. Plunk in a loonie for the sound then sway side to side for a min. After you could head out on your short track and have some fun knowing you got the total experience and only spent a loonie.

Maxwell, I have ridden with Daryl Baker from Racer's Edge more than once. Him and his friends run big tracks and usually big power with light weight parts. Honestly they can't go where we go, and we can't go where they go. Just completely different ridding. With their group the top rider has the biggest wallet and in our group the top rider is usually younger and stronger. Usually this leaves me trying to follow impossible trenches on the side of a cliff covered in trees. (I am not the top rider)

If you think the 3 x 174 is going to make you hang with the young guys I ride with, you are delusional.

what are you talking about??

Yeah I figured all the positive posts and threads on the new Doo's would be eating you up. HaHaHa

A positive post would be from someone who had an opinion based on facts, who had ridden one and had the ability to make a decision based on the merits of the sled overall , not just because of the brand decal. Probably is a bit tough to see though with your head up there !

ok, everybody stop saying positive things about the 2015 sleds, because Lenny says they can't be positive unless you've rode one....whatta fawkin tool :Happy4:

So basically what you are saying is everyone that has made a positive post on the new Doo's is uneducated and only pro BRP? What about the other brand riders who have an open mind and have positively commented on Doo for sticking there neck out there with new product changes? Lenny you are further distancing yourself from reality. Soon no one will listen to you anymore, even your 1 or 2 cronies that have stood behind you to date. Get over hating everything BRP and move on with your life?
