XP Aftermarket Cans Robbing Power?

Is it true that the stock E-Tec cans are the best? I have an X model 2011. How about after the 13 and 14 re-flashes, new update programming?

Yes, true. Most will drop a few on the dyno. Some worse.

Glad to see that others are coming up with similar results on the BRP oem silencer issue being the best performing product available, We have had on the dyno almost everyone available, Weight seems an issue for some but performance will suffer, I wish we could offer one that we could give a heads up for equal performance for a bolt on product! Our BB 872 Etec really shows loss of rpm and possible codes also when installing anything except stock pipe and silencers! Dave Trygstad

Yeah the stock one sounds good too. Too bad it weighs 30lbs.... I have had no problems or codes with my can I got from Specialty Sleds in Edmonton.
