Excellent write-up. The mentor-side is often neglected in articles about snowmobiling. We see advertisements that read , "take a friend snowmobiling" or " you are our sport...share it", with little discussion about the responsibility and sometimes pressure mentors are under for the safety of new riders. Whether it be a first-time flatlander or even more dangerous first-time mountain rider, keeping in mind communication, safety and respect are great reminders to share. Snowmobiling can be the most rewarding sport in the world, and the sports altruistic mentors deserve recognition for everything they do. Cheers

Great article. Mentoring before you get to the hill, how you conduct yourself in public are all very important as well once the little ones on are on their own path.
