where is wolverine area?

sorry to start new thread,but have to. i am looking for wolverine area and while we are at it ,red deer to.any help would be great.i always seem to end up at core lodge when in tumbler and have never been elswhere in tumbler thx

Wouldn't recommend either area if you don't know where you are goin. I would say find someone to guide you for a couple days or stick to Bullmoose or Core Lodge areas.

Not worried about any secrets both areas are huge!!! I don't have secret spots that I hide from people, if the snow is good I let people know about. Good to see you had a good day. Was there any slide activity that you noticed? Which way did you go in?

we just keep going to were they stop plowing.

not the quinette road. if coming from dawson or grande prairie head towards chetwynd. when you get to top of long hill there will be a road on the left that goes into the wolverine mine. go in there and drive right past the mine. go in i would say approx 34km's or till as far as they have plowed.

lets not diddle guys around. how far in is it plowed. Be careful in there avy took a man this year in there.

you can go both ways, if you go in the wolverine mine way ,watch for the coal trucks, if you go in on the murray river fsr it will take you through the old mine site . watch for the avy" s
