So buddy is selling two rifles.

1977 Winchester 30-30 good condition, barrell still blued and stock is in good shape. Has just there standard wood stock.

marlin 1985 GBL 45-70, maybe has two boxes of shells through it. Laminate wood stock.

what would you pay for both of them?

1200-1400.00 for the pair I think would be fair, depending on condition.

Laminated stock for the Marlin should be a SBL shouldn't it ?
I have this one and a great bush gun.
If in good shape should be worth the $7-800.00 mark used.

good to hear... the marlin new at cabbalas right now is worth 670. so asking 400 is a fair price given it has only had a box or two run through it.

the winchester is the wildcard. i figured 2-250 is what a 25 year or old rifle would be worth, but seems it may be value more around 4-500. hard to tell if these old rifles short straight or if it just a 3 looking like a 10.

i think i will try offer 600, but if he doesn't want to move then settle on 800.
