I cant imagine how the small animals take this cold. I typically see 6-8 deer a day in my yard mostly 2 momma's and a pile of baby's. They probably freeze. Not a bird in site.
coyotes are still running around here, not as much, but still out! we had a power outage here yesterday for about 4 hrs ? wood heat was blasting out as many btu's as it could! the thermometer came in to get a coat! ha.

Flew out east for a job, gained 40 degrees from my house to here...No toque, no gloves, no problem...

Highway 2 between RD and Calgary is slick…several vehicles snarled up in the wire ropes…

My wife had a tractor trailer go completely side ways in front of her and the guy straightened it out. She was yelling oh chit oh chit. Lots in the cheese grader she said.
