Just loaded up both Revs to head to Revy.
07 XRS Summit was running fine, but from garage to trailer have no lights, no tach/gauges. no tail light.

Checked fuses, there okay...

Sled runs fine.

Any hints that might help me. I will still ride, but it will shorten the days with no lights.

Have not checked for power on one side of the fuses as we are leaving at 04:00,

Any one with the same problem that might help would be appreciated.

Once we arrive we are going to slave in a new computer unit?????,,,, But?

Find the relays and give them a tap or two, my buddys 05 did that and the relay needed to be replaced but he could get it to work if he tapped the relay.
Good Luck

Yah, I tried that first.......

This is just damn weird. Have never had a problem with this sled.

Not overlly concerned about the lights. Can use a helmet light...

My concern is over reeving and doing damage.

Quickly inspected all connections and pushed on them.

No bare wiring and no extras added onto this sled. just the basis wiring essentials. (Tach.. Did I say tach,,,lights, reverse, hand warmers)
All stock wiring..

Thanks guy, I need help on this one

Check your wiring and plugs coming from your dimmer switch. I have seen the terminals come out of the plug, especailly at the steering post. You've already replaced your relay, so I would think it could be your voltage regulator. Just my thoughts. Good luck and have a good time:beer:

You might have a point.

Except the fuses should have blown when the wires come out and get grounded.

Fuses are golden. metered fine.

Bulbs all metered fine. That would leave me to believe that an over voltage would have blown all these components.

Voltage reg is out as i would presume.

NAPA number AR201 for a 04 rev 800 probaly the same for yours. Just take yours in with you to confirm you get the right one. Yes it is the relay on the l/s, probaly zip tied to the brace. Mine was zip tied to the throttle cable.

Did you have the sled apart?skins all removed? Plug in your module for the guage package by the headlights. I didnt last week and the same thing happened to me. No anything even no backup beeper, dash guages kind of freeked me out till I remembered I didnt plug in the multi wire connector going into that module. Had to take all the headlight package off again and I plugged in all worked again. Give it a try hope it works for you

The Relay, the only logical answer that anyone could come up with. its very common and we keep a couple in stock at all times.
