It's worth noting that the MP that was elbowed is the same one that won in 2011 as a paper candidate in a protest vote in a riding she didn't live in and had not visited. She did not speak French well enough to represent her French speaking riding and her experience prior to politics was as assistant manager at a campus bar. She was vacationing in Vegas for part of the campaign and did not campaign at all leading up to the election.

Why is that worth noting?
She's still an MP, just because her riding members are morons doesn't change that fact

Obvious he doesn't understand protocol and how to conduct himself in a proper manner in a place where respect should be shown. Just because your surrounded by idiots doesn't give you permission to act like one yourself. When your the boss you need to lead my example.

I'm embarrassed to leave the country and admit to anyone that I'm from Canada. I can only imagine what the rest of the world thinks of us now. A majority of Canadian voters thought this idiot was fit to run our country. Thinking of joining those bush people in Alaska and getting away from all this nonsense. Who knows...maybe Discovery channel will pay me big bucks and make another fake reality show.

There is no way anyone will be able to repay the debt this prick is racking up. How is it possible for anyone with connected brain cells to have voted for this spoiled brat.

Well my comments up till now was the over reacting of he woman MP who got elbowed...truly bad acting......

You should watch the whole video....starting at approx. 25 seconds watch the Conservative MP trying to get through the crowd of MP's who were clearly blocking his way which was clearly a stall tactic to start a vote. As the MP goes to the right the crowd moves t the right....as he moves to the left, the crowd moves to block him from passing. Then at approx. 40 seconds, the PM marches up and pulls the man through the crowd and the lady gets elbowed.....it does not look intentional to me

She leaves the chamber, misses the vote and blames the PM because she was elbowed in the chest and overwhelmed....boo ****ing hoo....no emmy for her acting or lack of it.

Trudeau was a bit heated up because of the stall tactics being made by the NDP's, and was definitely in the wrong for over reacting and using force to pull the Conservative whip through the NDP crowd by the arm. He apologized for it. I think if you watch the videos....I also found a slow motion video and maybe the woman should be the one apologizing.

The woman MP who was clearly part of the crowd blocking (you can clearly see it in the video) she is laughing about it.

So my question is, instead of him walking back and forth like a kid lost in Walmart, why wouldn't he just go along the other side of the table where nobody was standing?
Either way, it's too bad we couldn't give these politicians a performance review, and like everyone of us, if we're not up to expectations, then escorted out the front door with your little cardboard box in front of all of the other employees.

Boy... And all I got from this "episode" was Justin wants to elbow girls in the boobies in the girls bathroom...
...just looking at the bigger picture...given the current confusion about who's who in the bathrooms..
I do however fail to see the allure... One time turning around in the kitchen I accidentally "elbow/boobed" my missus not intentionally or hard, more of a "light brushing" and cannot recall "it" even moving.....
In my defence though I was making a bee line to the roast chicken on the counter, perhaps hunger may have jaded me...
Also I cannot recall any mention of it by her, could she have been "jaded by hunger" as well? Maybe a good thing over all considering our dog is a bit of a thief and has previously taken a whole chicken off the counter.

Good question....he could have but like most of the clowns in that room, grandstanding / acting out is part of the game.

Because technically he's not allowed to. Although as explained in this article, he actually did not even need to go up to the speaker and sit as there only needs to be one whip there sitting to set the vote in motion.

I wonder if politicians ever realize how much episodes like this just continue to lower the publics perception of them, sure Trudeau over reacted, but the whole thing, and much of what goes on during 'debates' makes them look like children doing their best to annoy their parents.

Exactly. It's not about the accidental brush against a person and subsequent Oscar-winning pain performance....it is about the fact he got up and crossed the floor. Not allowed.
