So we had a great time up Strawberry area on Saturday. I had a few close calls with some trees but thats what you get when you play in the trees all day long I guess. Part 7 at the end is when I got launched of my sled. So when you got nothing else to do tonight sit back and watch these videos (8) in all and about 10 minutes each. Good Times.

Here is Part 7 but just click on more from yamadoo04 to get to the rest. Parts 1 - 8

YouTube - Tree Riding 2-27-10 Part 7.wmv

Here are a bunch of snapshots I took from the helmet cam.

Those are some truly sic tree riding skills. I'm just learning to ride between the the trees and practiced this weekend a bit, but my idea of practice includes small little trees in the cut blocks so when I lose it, it's simply a matter of riding over it...not into it.

Very impressive skills. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks.

I have been riding the trees more this year because the snow has been pretty bad. Avy danger has been really high so we have stayed off the big open hills. Tree riding can be so much fun and the more you do it the better you will get. I finally got full coverage on my sled this year so if I do loose it in the trees and total my sled at least I will get something out of it now. It does take away some of the fear of slamming into a tree, but i still hope I dont hit one hard because that would still hurt.

Looks like alot of fun! I might have to get a sled....

You wont regret it. Well if you are married your wife might. :d
Cause you will be gone all the time riding. It is quite an addiction.
I do have a Raptor for the summer but sledding is what I live for and the wheeler just gets me through the summer. That is until i get my dune sled.
