short of looking at a temperature chart on the day your going, an easy rule is to use standard or saturated lapse rate. on a dry day...seldom in Revy, its 2.0 degrees per thousand foot gain in altitute.

More common is the saturated rate of 1.5 degrees celcius per thousand foot gain.
The airport is at 1500 ft roughly and the cabin is at about 5500 (google earth)
so 4000 gain. That would be a drop of 6 degrees from the town temp.

You will go up to as high as 7500 depending where you ride on boulder.

if its plus 5 in town it will be aprox -4 up at 7500. most riding between 6-7 thousand.

0 in town -9 to -10 up top.
