Some of you, if not all have probably heard by now of the book Fifty Shades of Grey... If you haven't, I STRONGLY recommend you consider this for your summer read... It's a trilogy, and one of the most addicting books I have ever read.
I heard about it not too long ago from some girlfriends while on a road trip... I wasn't really interested in what they were saying about it because it didn't sound like my cup of tea. A few weeks later, I overheard some ladies in a bar talking about it, then a few days after that tons of my girlfriends were posting about it on Facebook... My curiosity got the best of me and I found myself looking online for a preview, and before I knew it, I was purchasing the book for $6.00 on Amazon.com. Got the book a few days later in the mail, and COULD NOT put it down. I found myself up until 5 in the morning a couple times not even realizing the time because I was so into it. The book was finished before I knew it, and NOT at all what I expected, then next morning, I woke up early to go to the book store and bought the second book Fifty Shades Darker (for $17 instead of the $6 on Amazon just because I couldn't wait for it to arrive in the mail!!!). They say it's crazy but it's really not too bad. It's more the love story and the storyline rather than all the "erotic" scenes that got my attention, and TBH, it is slowly changing my perspective on certain things in my life and I can't get enough of it.

I STRONGLY recommend this book if you're looking for a summer read, and want a change of scene. :d

Cheers,

I am just finishing the first book Fity Shades of Grey and I agree. I didn't understand the hype until I started the book. I have a hard time putting down. I recommend this book also. You can buy them at Costco for $9.99

Haven't read the books yet, but the hype has definitely hit Pinterest:

I first heard about the book on the Ellen show, and then heard other ladies talk about them, so I bought the trilogy on my e-reader for half the cost (no waiting or looking for them either). The second and third books are way toned down/tamer than the first book.

Another trilogy I enjoyed reading was the Hunger Games.... didn't see the movie

not gonna lie, my wife picked up the book after hearing about it from a neighbour. I havnt had that much crazy sex that often for a long long time. love the book, but also find it funny in the sense if I sat down and read or watched porn that much and demanded the wife to get naked and get in bed, id probably be laughed at and told to use my hand, but when the wife does it, its a whole different story.

a good girl friend of mine posted on her facebook last night " its gonna be one of those glass of wine, bath and 50 shades of grey kind of night" so i text her, love how your openly admitting to your facebook friends of what your "doing" tonight. its like me saying "looks like its a rum, bed and young college girls 3 kind of night"

I have to agree with all the above...I was a sceptic also. However...I desided to purchase the first book and read it to my man. So for the last many nights we have read a chapter a night and WOW. I know my husband is more than happy to take time out to be "read too".....lol

It is very good for our relationship a bit hotter than usual thats for damn sure...hope the next 2 books are good too...bring on Christian Grey.....yummy
