steering colum

[ski-doo]

after 10000kms the steering colum snapped on my 1997 summit. I picked a new one up today and attempted to put it on but the bottom clamp is giving me a really hard time. Any suggestions?

COULDN'T RESIST. WHAT IS GIVING YOU GRIEF???? IS IT NOT JUST A U-BOLT DOWN THERE???

two plastic peices go around the bar and then a clamp goes over top and 2 bolts thread into it. You can't see anything because its underneath the motor so you have to do it blind and my hand barley fits in there. My uncle came over and we finally got it in without removing the motor.
