Wouldnt the government, to reduce a chance of forest fire disassemble and haul out? Maybe vandals or lightening?
I don’t think it was lightning. Rene put a lightning rod on top and ran a down long ground. So shitty

im still hopeful it was lightning. trying to think positive. Generally, electrical grounding systems are fully engineered so I'm still thinking lightning there just wasn't enough grounding to handle the intense lighting up in those hills. That's what I'm telling myself anyways.

Some very severe lightning in the area recently, spot fires everywhere. So most likely & high probability of a lightning "attack". It was a frightening place to be & vulnerable.

That forestry look out was shutdown very early in it's life for reasons like this. Another reason it was too high, above the clouds so you could not see.

Hoping lightning as well.
That said gov't usually burns down illegal cabins over hauling them out. Would be surprised if they did it in high fire season though.
