where the snow is
Just a note. I'm finding that most ski reports for fresh snow are out to lunch. usually 1/2 of what is reported has fallen. I'm thinking they are taken from the top of the mountain. castle reported 15 cm overnight and there was only 2-5 cm. I'm not bashin the ski hills they have a job to do. If your traveling long distances to ride i would suggest to take ALL reports with a grain of salt. . good luck have a great ride this weekend:rant:

Also snow reports are for the hill only. Conditions vary in a short distance.

Fernie fudges numbers though. You have to look when they are uploaded becuase they often "forget' to update when no new snow can be reported.

Castle is usually pretty good.

castle is usually taken mid mountain. There is always a difference from the parking lot.
