I've heard about 3 clutches blowing apart in the last week from a small dealership in South BC. The 4 bolts that hold the helix in break and carnage everywhere! I loaned my stocker to a fellow rider for this reason. Get a TEAM.
I am running the longer belt that comes on the 2013 snow cross sled did testing on my new team secondary and the stock clutch.my team runs 44 degrees cooler than my stock clutch, and makes 10 mile anhour diff while climbing . I ran my stock clutch for a hole day on a longer belt with no issues. On the stock belts I never got more than 50 miles on the belt before they blew up. If you take that white plastic spacer out of the clutch that limits it to a 1 to 1 ratio it works better also and runs cooler because it can shift out into an overdrive ratio making more track speed.
