Question on compression testing?

When doing a compression test, do you just keep pulling on the cord until it stops to increase?

Yeah keep pulling till the needle stops. Remember you have to have the throttle wide open as well.

About 3 to 4 pulls should be enough...

I did, but since there are no broken down arctic cats, I figured I'd troll around.

I guess to make it clear, most motors will stop making it's peak compression after 5 pulls, be it worn out, or good. I imagine he wasn't standing there for 20 mins pulling...

A worn out do will still have more Compression then a stock cat
