Question on compression testing?

When doing a compression test, do you just keep pulling on the cord until it stops to increase?

I did, but since there are no broken down arctic cats, I figured I'd troll around.

I guess to make it clear, most motors will stop making it's peak compression after 5 pulls, be it worn out, or good. I imagine he wasn't standing there for 20 mins pulling...

A worn out do will still have more Compression then a stock cat
