That looks super fun!! I would love to do up an old sled some day and run around with a gang :)

I always thought a bunch of Clowns would be scary...but a bunch of Elans would outweigh that....lol.
One of my first "modern day" sleds was an Elan...that the 294ss version...seemed darn fast in its time.
Could outrun the Yamy 340 on hard ground. Spent a lot of time defending my honor on that sled....lol...
Some Awesome Memories...thanks Guys.

Im guessing its for the 76 white hood listed on kijiji right now,you can order windshields from the skidoo dealer for about $60-70,I made my own from lexan, seat covers are plentyfull but untorn seat foam is hard to find, maybe place an ad on kijiji.
Good luck

Hey nytroman....not that you probably care but it was dual 30mm on the 80 citation ss I got my carb from. Seems there's not a lot of 30's around. You wouldn't happen to have a adapter from 2 bolt tilltoson to mikuni boot would you?

Ya those work good, have a a 34mm off the 4500 single carb I am going to test and set up when I get some time away from finishing my Nytro and blizzard services. I dont have any spares just put two new ones on in december. The new boots can be ordered from royal or kimpex, even a doo dealer, but ensure that you get the short one, there is a long version and they will crack and the carb will fall off just sitting outside in the cold weather from the weight. Plus the closer you get the carb to the cylinder the better the fuel picks up and throttle response is noticable.

Love the Elans, and wanted to get one for the youngest boy. Seem hard to find but thats because you are hoarding them I see. Found an old citation for him now but those older Elans...had a SS with twin and sliders. Never stuck!
