Was out last Sat. at PK. All that nice powder got rained on Friday. Went up the Mount West trail from the power lines and it was a skating rink. Half the crew had trouble climbing because of the ice. We weren't even making marks on the ground. It was brutal. Oh, it was also -10 with a 40 km wind. I know I sound like I'm whining, and I guess I am, LOL. Maybe I'll go one more time. Three weekends ago it was pure heaven. That was at Old Friend.

Hey Gxsrboy....

Nice pictures... although the sled orientation does seem a bit abnormal.... looking like trick photography.... :D

You gotta like when trees spring up at the right moment, volunteering, sacrificing & throwing themself in the path of a sled ,,,, preventing it from tumbling/rolling downhill.... :rolling: :rolling:
