That video is sweet, reminds me of the first street skateboard vids I bought in the early nineties when I was a kid. Everything was kinda sketchy style not super smooth or crazy but was the very start of the progression of the sport. Be cool to see how far these one wheels go

Is the XR quite a bit more stable and planted off road? I have a heck of a time with the pint once I leave concrete or asphalt

I’m 50 years old. Within two hours I was riding the one wheel on the lawn and faster over bumps and tree roots. Gravel takes a couple days. the XR one wheel is definitely stable off-road

I haven’t ridden a pint but I want to add one to the fleet.

If you learned on a Pint you might find the XR like driving a school bus. Just a faster school bus.

it sounds like the tire really affects the way they handle. The xr’s stock tire is concaved, not just flat. I’ll try the Burris treaded off road tire as soon as they have stock.

My ankles wobble all the time on the pint. It’s loose but I also haven’t done any custom shaping on the app,I just run the fast mode

I'm pretty good on most boards and decent on the pint for basic stiff but I don't feel comfortable on lose gravel or rooty trails.

Van ypu do shaping on the app for the pint? Thought custom shaping was only on the bigger ones

Both loose gravel and roots are still a Challenge on the XR. Defiantly ride slower. Packed gravel no prob. We don’t Fawk with the shaping often. Tried them all a bit at the start, but I find they don’t change the stability that much. Elevate lifts the nose for hills and if you try to rip that at high speed it goes squirrely. Ran delerium steady until a float life vid recommended mission for learning nudges and bonks.

These things look pretty fun. A few weeks ago the kids in the next campsite over from us had 2 of these and they were having a blast! seems like the batteries must be good cause they were doing laps for hours at a time.

Out camping mine doesn’t stop. If it’s sitting idle Somebody jumps on. With the XR it will almost go a full day nonstop, but now if we are running it steady I make a point of plugging it in once during the day for a little bit while we eat, or do other cool shat. It only takes 1 1/2 hours to charge from stone dead.
