Not another track swap...

Hey guys looking at helping a friend swap a 144" track and driveshaft off a 1998 summit 670 onto a 1996 summit 500 which has 136" track on it right now... will the 670 driveshaft fit into the 500 chassis? and if it doesnt fit, is the pitch of the drifeshafts the same so i can just change the track. Thanks guys.

ps the 670 is a junker cause im sure your thinking why would i go to a smaller sled lol.

Track pitch is the same. Don't need to swap the axle.
