Needed places in sparwood to ride

I have only lived here a year , iam finding everywhere i go ..NO motorbiking ..signs .With all these mountains, there has got to be places .Is there a track around here ? Can we build a track ? Iam interested in helping anyway i can .please get back to me 250-910-0271 Darren

Check with your local Forestry office, they will know what's open and what's not. As for the signs, are they actually MOF signs? That's why I'd check with MOF, I've seen too many "no trespassing" and "no motorized vehicles" signs around here where it was obviously open crown land. The C&W Railbed is one example where Trails BC put up there own signs with no authorization from MOF. Needless to say it is still open to ATVs and dirtbikes. It's some people's agenda to push their way of recreation in the back country and most ATVers are honest enough to not question a sign no matter how hokey it looks.
