Has any honest person came across a garmin radio that was lost up in boulder mountain i do believe that when you turn it on it will say Jared on the screen.

I feel for you,I lost one at Begbie and one down in the Crowsnest Pass.
I'm going to break down again this summer and buy a new one.

I always use the tether strap so that when it comes out of the mount cradle it still stays attached to the sled or dirt bike or quad as for sledding the gps should be on he sled and not in your pocket as it will mess with the avi beacon

Had mine knocked off by a branch and looked for over half an hour before finding it. Next day tied a fishing leader from it to the handle bars for security.
