New or used?
My buddy has a keystone outback ( don’t remember the model). It’s a decent enough trailer, kinda middle of the road quality-wise. Like most trailers in that price range, the frame is the weak point. His was starting to crack right above the suspension mounts. He took it into standens in calgary and had the frame reinforced with some 2 tube and had the hitch to frame area gussetted as well. These frame problems aren’t just a keystone thing, it’s common across a lot of manufacturers.
Is it the Outback that has the rear "outback" slide? if so I would search the RV forums heavily on that model and make your on decisions. I looked at a few and thought it was a nice idea but the slide system wasn't great and they had a lot of rigging issues.
Keystone makes other Outback models that do not have the outback slide. Like any manufacturer, ForestRiver as another example, they have a wide range of quality and models, from entry level wood/tin construction to all aluminum/fibre. Some of the Keystone models like Montana are very nice units. It all comes down to dealer support should you have an issue. The more expensive the trailer, the more likely to have a problem.
