Hey everyone, I picked up a 06 Summit 1000. I have went though most of the topics on this sled . Is there anything I should know about this sled so I do not wreck it? Also I read in 1 topic that you need to reprogram if below 800 feet. Is this true? Any info is appreciated.

I have a 2006 151 summit highmark.Forget the negative hype on these sleds and just enjoy it. Yes you do need to tune the sled for below 1000 ft. Iv'e had mine since new and have really enjoyed this sled "ZERO" breakdowns and it pulls hard. I've geared mine down using 9 tooth drivers and installed a Dalton clutch kit in it. They are heavy thou.

go to dootalk and read the rt1k thread by lund and another in the mach z section by tom warga. after the free/cheap weight reduction mods they aren't that heavy, about the same as a standard 159 rev.
