So I was looking around to get my dragon tunnel polished and came by Lacustoms. I talked to two great Lakusta brothers that told me I would be more than happy with the end results and wow was I ever. They did an amazing job for a great price. I would recommend them to anyone. :specool:

when it is done right it will last for all season and maybe even 2. did my 670 three years ago all it takes to make it look like a mirror still is about 20 mins with a rag and some mothers. a properly done polish job will last alot longer than 2 rides j/s

Looks awesome! I did my dragon just the other day. I spent hours last season polishing and polishing, now this season if it gets a little dull I just go over it with some purple metal polish and a rag, looks shiny again! Can't beat the look of a nicely polished tunnel!

Haha no way mr.maxwell i think its the other way around. Its $175 from Lacustoms which i found is pretty resonably priced and ive rode it about 12 times and the polish is still shinning. Sean you should do your doo.

Looks okay, nice and shiny.......... Boydo on this site, does awesome polishing jobs and best price anywhere..... Even dealerships are using him when required. He invented special polish and they sell it at some of the bigger truck shops, eg: Traction truck parts.

He did my rt1000 3 years ago, and it still shines, however, i am going to get it to him this year, once it's up and running again :)

i am in no way trying to be a dick, but do you have your sled covered or in a trailer for those 12 rides? i put some serious effort into my tunnel and it looked really good, not as good as yours but close. from having it on the deck, back and forth to the hill a couple rides and just the rides themselves it was pretty dull and dirty. i gave up...lol. im always breakin ch!t anyways so the last thing on my mind is polishing my tunnel..lol

curious to know.

thanks!

for that kind of money you can't go wrong, the sled polish they sold at the edmonton show is a great way to keep it looking this way too, my buddies sled was done two years ago it gets hauled on a deck and moderately blasted all the time but he gives it a 20min hand polish every couple rides and it still looks like a mirror, nice sled

Ya I haul mine mainly on a flat deck trailer but with a splash guard on it. Tarped of course. It has also been in enclosed trailers twice but overall if its tarped it does not make a difference on the polish.

if you get it done profesionally it will shine for years. pros sand them thats how they get that deep shine when they polish! spent $250 at the truck spa in calgary and mine shines beutifuuly even after 40 plus trips on my deck.
