Filing Taxes

Anyone doing their own personal taxes for end of April I just want to point out StudioTax software is free and easy to use. I'm not affiliated just happy with the product and passing it along. They do ask for a donation at the end but you're not obligated.

I've used simple tax the last couple years if people are looking for another option. Easy to use and understand and it goes through a checklist of questions for deductions you may qualify for

Same deal with the donation but not mandatory

This page has a list of the Netfile compliant software packages (StudioTax and SimpleTax included). Netfile compliance means you just click a button once your return is complete and it automatically submits it to CRA.

You're lucky then! Or living on borrowed time.. I don't pay much but I'm also in the lower tax brackets on those forms (Alberta form especially).

Everyone should have a CRA account, most people do not. But if you have one you can authorize a representative what ever the hell that means and it will automatically fill out your tax software for you.
