Hope i don't get stoned for this one. Sold my diesel and now wanting to get a enclosed trailer, still going to put a deck on this truck but would like a trailer for all seasons. i now drive a F150 with a 6.2l My question or my seeking of knowledge is can my truck safely pull a 26' trailer or am i better off going smaller? I have never owned an enclosed snowmobile trailer and am getting excited at all the options i have found. I found a few kijiji gems around the 7g mark but have not bought one yet and two i have found are 26 footers. Don't need 26 but don't want too small or under 20 either.
i'd also like to know if you own a trailer with all bells and whistles would you buy new with everything or add you're own heaters and stereo and storage after? Both trailers i'm looking at are bare, no heaters not nothing. but loaded up i see them for 20g and that's way out of price range. I will probably use the trailer more in summer time with dirt bikes and kids stuff. Winter time half a dozen trips i'm guessing. Also like the idea of parking it and just leaving everything in trailer and not unloading, shuffling garage and the pain in the ass moving everything.
So any 1/2 ton guys care to share you're words of wisdom to this newbie?
