On the way into Coal Mountain, there is active logging on the Leach FSR. Just up the hill from the tin shacks there is an active landing and the road is plowed. It is against the law in BC to drive snowmobiles on a plowed logging road. Fines are not cheap. Service trucks and equipment haulers may be using the road on the weekends so don't assume the weekend is safe. It is signed and "Unauthorized Entry" is prohibited.

Logging and mining take precedence over recreation. You have been informed and I am just letting those who read this to know what to expect.

It looks like the yellow gates can be used and then come back to the pipeline. That road is not plowed and guys have been using it, so I'm thinking Teck isn't active in there yet.
