What are you talking about willis? With the winch mounted so high it made this quad the best since after it got to the other side of the hole it could turn around and actually pull the kawistucki or caned ham UP and OUT of the skeg! Hehe

thanks fellas, I have an 09 850xp and love it, and have been looking for another. I had just seen an 800 which seemed like an alright deal at the time, but I will definately be looking for an 850 instead. thanks again.

It seems to me that the 800 sportsman is not a bad machine from a VALUE persective. Bang for the buck, no doubt the xp's are more refined, more power ect. The 800 seems like it would be a good all- around atv. After reading comparisons on other forums, some guys love the 800 and some would only buy the xp model.
