my brothers 96 powder special clutchs are engading to high. the main jet in one of his carbs popped out on the hill and they ran it to try to get it to move but it wouldnt go so when they brought it home and found out it was the main jet they put the belt back on and it started to engage at 5000 rpm and before it engaged at 4000 rpm they changed the spring to a softer spring and it only brought it too 4500 rpm. he thinks he needs to tighten the spider. i just want to see if anyone that knows more about clutchs or has had a similar problem has any ideas of where to start thanks.
