Cleaning a Windshield.

Maybe this isn't the right place to ask this but I recently bought a sled that looked like it needed a new windshield. Upon further investigation the people that owned the sled prior didn't remove the plastic wrap from the windshield and after time the wrap stuck to the windshield. Any ideas on how to remove the plastic coating that is now on it? Has anyone had this happen to them or heard of such a stupid thing?

You could try a heat gun on low setting. It might be easier to replace the windshield.
