I need some tips of where to start, and what to do. I got an 07 RMK 600 and im not sure how to drain the chaincase oil... is there a plug on the bottom or do i need to tip the sled on its side and pop off the cover:confused: Also, what should I be looking for once I open it up, and what oil should I be using?

Thanks for any advise :d

Pull off the cover completely. check your gears for spalling or grooves. If the gears are worn replace the chain also. Brakkleen the crap out of all the space behind the bottom gear, when you re-assemble put a little dap of silicon on the seal where the two ends meet. Any synthetic gear lube is fine. I set the chain tension by feel, i like a 1/4 to 1/2 inch of deflection.
