The Two beauty’s that I pulled out of a garage this summer are going straight to the RB block in dec. The 440 has 880 miles and the 340 has 1400 miles. Both have E start, reverse and hand and thumb warmers.

Smart move. You'll probably do well.

I was offered $3500 for the 440 And $3200 on the 340. No offer had the cash in their hand at my house tho, so who really knows. I sure hope they go hirer than that but that’s a gamble I’m taking. Hopefully The recent snow hitting the prairies and the covid crazy news stations bump up the prices on them.

Man I just get a feeling you could get more privately than at auction. Hopefully the target crowd you want is there for you. Do you have reserves on them or does Richie allow that?

They take 15% and no reserve but they have nation wide buyers. I absolutely hate selling things privately. The buying and selling market has really gone to sh*t the last 10 years. It seems nobody’s word means anything anymore.
On Friday night Someone says they are coming with cash, u stay home on a Saturday waiting for them then they ghost you. I Could have been at the lake that day.
I’m not interested in wasting a few days trying to sell them and waiting for no shows. This way when Dec 8th comes they are gone. Maybe I make a couple grand more maybe I loose a couple grand.

I have had great buyers in the past but there’s not many of them.

Been buying at auctions and no matter what auction they sell good. I have been dealing with Team auctions out of Drayton, they take 7 % from the seller and 10 on the buyer, think thats a good formula

either way perfect timing and you will do good

Not allowed, unless it's Ritchie's selling things, or for a big customer, same with buybacks. It's insane how crooked ritchie's is. You know who they are selling for by how long they wait, if it's joe blow it's fast (especially if it's a good customer buying it), but if it's something they are selling or the right customer they will wait forever. They do get crazy prices right now, many items even after commission you are getting as much if not more then you could selling privately.

Based on recent RB and Michner pricing those things will likely fetch north of $4k each.....

Sled pricing is crazy right now but smaller machines are hard to come by in good condition because there was a huge void in the market for a long time.

Seems crazy to me that a 1994 340 & 440 can fetch more than my 2011 single owner M8 with under 2500km did... but that is supply and demand for ya.

Good luck, I think you will do well

i am curious about that little gem on the stand in the background. thats perty.

That little guy is a pump gas mostly alum 10.5-1 eagle stroked 557 ford with afr alum heads and will be feed by a Holley sniper efi. The builder figures with the components in the engine it should do 800-850hp. Engine is capable of handling over 1000hp so with that lower compression it will likely have a booster on it one day.

Edit; it’s for my jet boat

Well the sleds have been on the auction block for a few days now. I thought it was a one day only thing. I’m pleased I sent to the RB. Already higher than the cash offers even after RB takes their cut.

And here’s a photo of the 557 that was spotted.
