Does anyone do it ?
I had mine done when I had to replace the valve stems, that ripped when the trailer was moved when the ice was melting. Water was rising, so I decided to move it to higher ground. Apparently several valve stems were still frozen in the ice. They got torn when the trailer broke free. :(
Anyway my buddy balanced them while the valve stems were getting replaced.
They weren't out alot, the largest weight was 1.75 oz.
Is balancing trailer tires the exception, or the rule ?
Rims , crappy chrome and all, Made in China, no surprise here.

It's the exception. Balancing is more about ride comfort (no vibration) than it is about tire wear unless they are drastically out of balance.

Have had my trailer axles aligned and wheels balanced on the past 3 trailers Wheel alignment (at Edmonton Spring and McCoy Brothers) will stop the cupping and uneven wear (always on the inside of the tires) and wheel balance (Fountain Tire) to stop the up & down thumping of the tires - hopefully making them last a few more years - 4 new tires are not cheap. I would bet that less than 10% of trailers are aligned & balanced

Yes balance trailer tires. Stops uneven wear , cupping ect. Not all places do it but should.

I have done tons of sled trailers with winter pass rated tires and guys say its a huge difference the way the trailer stops , corners , and tracks with the truck.

That's what I thought.
Didn't have an issue before, so I don't expect to notice anything.

Bnorth, was through Clearwater a couple of weeks ago, and have two inquiries.
Is the road construction completed through town yet ?
What is the name of the sandwich/ bakery shop, up the road from the Shell .
That was a good breakfast !

Also had a good sign on the wall-

Unattended children will be given an expresso and a free puppy ;)

DO NOT buy anything but coat aluminum for sled trailers as the salt / road grime eats those chrome rims in 1 season put lots of chrome polish on the rims before the start of the season

Road construction isn't done til October and the Bakery sounds like the Flour Meadow Bakery. Shoot me a PM next time, the shop fridge is always stocked with cold beer.
