Apex rear shocks

Has anybody tried aftermarket rear shocks on an apex mtn, Mine starts to fade and bottom out when I pound the rough trails.I would like to hear the good and bad

I have a FOX "CLICKER" remote reservoir that if easy to adjust from hard to soft....... My apex works great over 2-3 foot mogals....the faster you go the smoother it gets.......but I also have a M-10 so not sure if it is the shocks or the rear skid?

i had problems with my stock shocks bottoming out too. put fox floats on and shes all good now.
