Snow and more snow

Talked to guy at the ufa in Rocky last night. He was just returning and all he said was amazing,i asked if there was any snow and he lifted his hand above his hip, almost to his chest and he said to much! The only scary part was when i asked where he went, he said he didn't know, other than that it sounded pretty good! :D (cause i wasn't there and glad to hear about it)

Catmando:

Got into Golden last night. The most snow I have ever seen thru Lake Louise and thru the pass to Golden. Took 2 hours to drive Lake Louise to Golden.

Will update you after todays ride.

Went into Silent Pass today. Total of 5 sleds there all day - three in our group. 12 to 18 inches fresh - and is still botomless. Could not believe the amount of snow we had. We each had 2 jerry cans and just made it back to the truck on fumes. Unbelivable snow

I like riding there, but it is a long ways in and out. Good thing you took gas!

IF MEMORY SETS ME CORRECTLY, I THINK THE TRAIL IN WAS ABOUT 12KMS OF GROOMED TRAIL(NOTHING LIKE RENSHAWS 26KMS), AND IT WAS A NICE CABIN.... GORMAN WAS ANOTHER GOOD AREA WE PLAYED IN, AND THAT TRAIL WAS QUITE SHORT TOO(10KMS), YOU'LL ENJOY QUARTZ CREEK, ALTHOUGH IT WASN'T A HUGE AREA, BUT GOOD FOR A DAYS PLAY:nitro: ..... OH, I GET IT, YOU DON'T WANT TO GO TO FAR, IN CASE YOU GET STUCK AGAIN???? DARNED, SORRY ABOUT THAT CATMANDO, I THOUGHT THAT OUT LOUD, DIDN'T I???:lame: :ignore:

Well - snowed at least 18" on Monday night at Quartz. They had groomed the trail on Monday night - and we were the first ones up Tuesday morning. There were no sled there at all Monday - and only three other guys on Tuesday.

Unbelievable snow. I have never seen that much fresh. Took three tries just to punch to the top of the Saddle, and we couldn't get thru to Area 51 - too much snow. Took two cans of gas for the day - back to the truck on fumes again after about 6 hours of riding.

Stepped off the sled to help a buddy in the play area - just a nothing little hill, and sank to my armpits. Had to swim out.

Even at Quartz - it is tough right now with all the snow. Hope your better half is a good rider
