Dave Craig used to live there and he had a little lodge that had a few rooms I believe... maybe I'm wrong. But he has since moved to Pemby I think.
I want to say there was another place besides the King Eddie.... but then again, I have been wrong before :)

Hoping to get back there again in the Spring !!!

King Eddie will be your option to go with. When are you planning for?

If you're going in the spring, there's a few places on the Hyder side that may be open, but we've never tried any of them.

Almost forgot: In Stewart, Ripley Creek Inn is THE other option, but we've never strayed away from the King Eddy.

Our big trip this year is 11 days through whistler sicamous and Rev but next year we're heading to Stewart. I've heard such good things about Stewart and it seems like it's not an overcrowded place

Just reading about some of the history of Stewart is amazing. Strapping horse shoes to the hoofs of horses sounds crazy. That and why all the outside doors swing to the inside room so your not trapped behind 8' of snow overnight wow!
