670 vs 740

have 670 with a bad cylinder do you think its worth going to a 740 do they work good.

i have the 740 in my sled and i love it eats 670 for lunch lots of power this is my first sled and i love it .i would think this is a great way to go i love it great power and can climb very nice

You could build a 720, They ues stock 700 polaris pistions..

I have heard this a bunch but never been able to determine what pistons they were. Is the pin height the same (just bigger bore basically) or do you have to shim the cylinders. Years ago I was meaning to get a 700 Pol piston and measure it against my 670's, just never did.

I know Val Simmons built a ton of these back in the day.

If you have any other info I'd sure be interested (and I think a few others on here would be too).

I have a complete 740 in a 97 MXZ chassis. It never get s ridden though because of lack of snow at home. I sqeacked the motor a couple times right away because of lack of clearance, but once we got that figured out, it was crazy fast.
I would actually sell the sled if anyone was interested. 3500.00 complete.
