2006 rmk 700/fox float 2's

i bought a set of float 2's for my rmk, and they don't seem to fit. i doublechecked the part number and figured the dealership ordered the wrong ones, but they're supposed to be for my rmk. the wide black part of the shock comes tight up against the top shock mount, and doesn't allow the shock to pivot enough to connect to the a arm. im thinking about grinding a piece of the top mount so i can get that extra inch or so. if anyone knows what im talking about please help. haha i don't know how to explain it any better

you have to mount them upside down. losts of guys run them like this including myself. never had a problem. If you really want you can grind away part of the top of the shock to make them work the right way.

I had the same thing with my 9 dragon
called them they told me turn them upside down
being running mine like that for 2 years now
