Did this to my 04' PRO-XR 800, was a 121" x 1-3/8" and I purchased 136" rails and tunnel extension ( SLP ) and installed a 136" x 2" track, works well but had to do some gearing.

I did it many years ago with an MXZ, changed to Summitt skid and track and put on smaller drivers. I wouldnt do it again, I just ended up buying new sled as I didnt like the way the MXZ performed.

X2 did the slp kit to my edge, zero problems.....if i would to do it again i would do a tracks usa extension, uses a 136 slide and looks less like a bolt on rail extension.

If there is anyone who has done this befor let me know how it worked out for you.

Switched my Edge from a 121 to 136 last year, beat the crap out of this machine, but had no issues with the track extensions, they are slp bought from Cycle Works. Converted it to a 2inch as well, lost top speed but have a tonne of torque off the get go...

Finished it in time for one last run for the season. Snow conditions didn't really allow me to tell if If need to lower the gearing. Played in some ditches and stood it on the bumper a few times.

I did my 99 rmk a few years back. Went from a 136 to a 141. Moved entire skid back about 2" and down about 1" or something like that. Also changed the tunnel extension. It made the sled handle a lot better.

Polaris actually made a complete kit to do it did mine a few years back instead of extensions you got 136 rails and tunnel extension and all parts necessary for it. Worked well.
