I just word that all 25 round clips are now prohibited for the 10/22. Turns out you can use them in a handgun of some sort. Anyone else hear about it?

They're called magazines, BTW.
This is a clip.

Herein lies the problem... They ARE rim fire, HOWEVER, the talk is that the problem here is that Ruger also makes a rim fire pistol and the mags fit the pistol. Well, in Kanada, you can NOT have any more than 10 rounds in a hand gun of any kind. Hence the banning in Kanada of the Ruger BX25 magazine. The problem is that Ruger marketed that one as fitting the carbine AND the pistol. All these aftermarket mags aren't marketed for the pistol. So.... I guess we wait...Not prohibited. It is a rim fire. If you want to confirm call the rcmp. There is also the CFO you can call.
Started manufacturing in 2008.I like how they mention the pistol being introduced in 2007. I remember when it came out.
