Went for a ride on sunday and the sled was running great maybe a bit lean. Anywas the sled was brought in to the dealer to install a digitron and pure logic on monday. The dealer called today with some good news and bad news, the bad news was the stator was shot. How is this all of the sudden? He did say its not a new machine anymore. Then he went on to say that the digitron shorted out but he is going to get warranty on that ( thanks for steping up on that). Called some other dealer and asked if they have had any stators go on these old 08 m8 (some sarcasm there) and they said never sold one or replaced one. It leaves a guy to think that maybe the dealer is at fault here, not sure but the short may have caused this? What do u guys think? Still waiting for the good news.
