07 backfire and not working on clutch side

took machine out today lost clutch side hole runs rough backfires and vibrates compression 125 both sides plug was black still runs like crap any ideas machine is stock 2500 kms 85 hrs always skidoo synthectic oil any ideas

Thought it was the crank on daughters 07, but compression test shows blow pistin on PTO side.

New piston or new engine is the question......

Where and what price did you pay for new engine and install?Piston looks like 150 with gaskets but still have the crank worries...

Piston and trade in or new engine and keep the 07 platform?

Oh yah! I already put new engine in a 07 XRS and it is crisp! Vut with all the new engineering?
