    I have had decks on an F150 a 2500 Dodge ram and a 1 ton F350/6.7 IMO the only way to go is the one ton, especially if you throw ATV's on there in the summer. Short box with the right deck and supeclamps is just fine and don't forget 1 ton vs 3/4 ton (if you buy new) you pay a higher tax rate...
