Just wondering what setups guys are running on the etec, I ve been running the tied for 3 yrs and still trying to get all the power to the track. What setups are guys running?

got stock can from 08 xp... for case of beer...but im in Grande Prairie area.

1700kms on mine now, hesitation stopped at 900kms, but same old summit problems. as longs as you gear down, and switch up clutching, and vent it real good its decent, only reason i havnt switched to the cats is i just love the chassis skidoo has.

replace bushings and if you tap a grease nipple in the front of the spindle they will last way longer!

on my 08 xp mine went at 5500kms, its cheaper to do yourself, but a bit of labour there...

ive got 1700 km on mine now, everything in the clutch has held up, which im quite surprised, 3 blowen belts but works ok after all clutching was tinkered with. maybe you got a lemon of a bushing.

i had real bad hesitation, untill about 900kms it cleared up, just make sure u check your exhaust sensor frequently, it really pops and back fires when they rattle out. mine recently runs one cylinder when its first started warm or cold weather, i think the injectors may need replacement as it...

ya its been ok, the cats still out climb mine any day, and ive spent lots on good cluthing, but today riding in deep pow, the exhaust sensor popped out for the 3 rd time so i shut the sled off and screwed it back in, went to fire it up, it would idle but wouldnt get any fuel, would just suck...

ive had coolent leaks on the t by the recoil, just had to change to actual hose clamps. on new a new etec.

hey guys wondering what you have done to your primary.. whatcha running,. ive just swapped ... again my primary spring to blue/ purple and 433 ramps.. running 21grms and will test it this weekend and see, running at 3000-8500 ft

underdog... no thats not what was compared...a 2011 etec 154" compared to 2009 and 2011 m8 artic cats.

when the oil cable breaks.... it opens up, mine broke on my 08, burnt tank of oil in 1/4 fuel.... under the carbs is how to get to it, its such a pain to replace the cable, i pulled the engine mounts and tilted the motor ahead so you can finally get your hands in there.

ya the power is there but i feel when its loaded it dont pull like it should, i switched to the team tied secondary running a 62 helix, waiting for a straight 59, i tested it today riding with two other m8 s... a 09 and a new 2011... similar weight riders and the new cat pulled 50 ft ahead...

lost 20km in track speed, OH watch your exhaust sensor... mine rattled out... and was backfiring.. and poping....

track speed for sure, and the power, feels like a regular 800r. Its just lacks the snap, and the inital pull you feel with the backshift.

underdog, my sled seems the same way, dont pull like it first did, at all!! why are all these sleds different? i guess its all on how you use your thumb.... 1/2 throttle.. noproblems... full throttle... all problems.

ya if your riding a xp, i had that problem bad with my 08...vents and the timbersled intake kit helped

ya i notice this chattering is worse than my 09 or 08 summit... but i consider this normaal
