It is the water pump belt and it does also drive your oil pump. If you drove it for 10 mins you most likely took out the crank. This happened to me and I even had to replace the cases.
Took out the engine on my 2012 pro only has about 700km on it. It needs $2,500 worth of parts and dealer says they are at least two weeks out. They were good enough to give me a 2013 pro to use though while mine is being fixed on warranty so I have zero down time, thanks Cycle Works!!!
My cousin was riding with that group, it turns out he was the one riding it out when it burnt down. Apparently there were no charges and BRP is covering it and sounds like a possible recall.
The only other thing I can think of that may be gayer is the name Dusticles and the fact that you like them rubbed all over your face. Than removing "said" snake from a random anus, not sure who's, and running it under your nose taking deep breaths. I know, typical saturday night in golden for...

Oh, just a thought. how did you get your sleds there, on a deck, no covers? Did this once and went through rain/sleet and it buggered up a tone of my electrical and took out my stator, filled it up through the timing inspection hole.
Definitely sounds electrical to me. You can try to adjust your TPS but that doesn't sound like your problem. It could be a bad stator or a ground somewhere, weird though how its happening to both your machines. You are probably going to have to get a shop manual and start going through your...
FBF oil cable is the only way to go, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if your stock cable is stuck on full. Every 900 I have delt with has had this issue. On a side note, my 9 goes through tones of oil as it is, even with the updated cable, every time I fill the tank I fill the reservoir.
