Teflon taping the threads and pouring water in the bolt hole is the exact technique I told Backus Racing last year when I had a worn out roller and my one weight was over cam'ing and making the clutch stick engaged. They could not get my clutch off and told me a week earlier a customer had to...
It definitely is racing oil, even says so on the package, and like Danbot has said it does not have the additives that prevent rust during storage. I run it in my high performance freestyle watercraft and fog the motor after every time I ride to prevent rust.
I had this issue while I was out on a mountain trip, they tried the puller, heat and an impact to no avail. I asked them to try the water trick: pour water in the crank snout, teflon tape the threads on the puller and tighten it down. Clutch popped off first try with the water trick, I'd...
Ya, i normally try to engage the clutch and have the engine start doing the braking before I grab the brake, but there were a couple times I had to do some emergency braking. Polaris definitely should have had the rotor on the other pulley.
Not gonna lie, the first belt last year was my fault. It was over cast and the light was flat that day and it was hard to see any depth in the snow, I was sidehilling, hit a big drift and got launched and I hit my chest on the bars causing me to pin the throttle when it landed and stripped the...
I shouldn't have lashed out at you like that, but I found it offensive and pretty rude that you said it sounded like I didn't break it in properly when you don't have the faintest idea how I broke my belt in.
I blew a belt near the end of last season, took it in to the dealer and they found my jackshaft and bearing needed replacing under warranty so they gave me a new belt under warranty. I have been on 3 trips to the mountains since then, and on my most recent one I blew the belt on the last day of...
Ended up getting it fixed at Backus Racing at Mara Lake by Sycamous. After 1.5 hours of trying they told me they couldn't remove my clutch, and said I might just have to run it as is. I said that's not possible because it's sticking engaged every time I hit the throttle. I asked if they tried...
Started having a bog issue today, it was intermittent and didn't happen too often, changed plugs and I thought that helped. But then the last couple times I pinned it wide open the primary clutch stuck engaged. Got it free, headed down the mountain and tore it apart to find that the one front...
What does 'motorfist' even mean, I'll never buy your gear just because I hate the name and logo. That and your stuff is some of the ugliest stuff out there. Maybe you should take a page from Klim's book.

What handle bar risers are you guys running on your 2013 PRO's? How high can you go before you need cable extensions? I'm 6'4" so I want to go as high as I can before needing extensions.
Thanks
Is it the shaft with the drivers on it? My dealer is telling me that either shaft can blow, whereas I've heard different online. I'm trying to be pro-active and put the 2012 shaft in before I go to the mountains for peace of mind. Do you happen to have a part number for the 2012 shaft?
Thanks
