That is not a good situation. Your crank case is filling with fuel and draining through the exhaust ports into the pipe. As previously mentioned, check your float valves or check your fuel pump(s). Another thing to consider is if your machine has a primer. I had a problem with a primer on a...
PFO is a term used in the corporate world.
Most people here would say it the way it's meant to be said. But when you work for a multi-national firm your cannot.
It means: Please Fu*k Off.
I intend to buy a 1200 by 2011 and install Turbo. The yamaha crew must be scared because they can nolonger hide the extra weight and poor handling behind the HP the BRP will smack them down with.
RIP Yamaha's last attempt at producing a sled that the public will buy.
I checked the junk pile and there are no Ariens sleds laying around. You might want to call an Arctic Cat dealer and see if they have any M8s left in stock as they have the same power and appeal as the Ariens sleds.
You might have to replace the brass gear on the rotary-valve shaft. If debris got caught in the valve the brass gear is often damaged. Some shops will also tell you to check/replace the shaft as they can bend under the stress.

It should be fine but I also worried once when I badly flood my 583. All the gas in the crank washes the oil out of the crank bearings and cylinder walls. I get nervous about too little lubrication for the first minute or so until the injection pump dumps some in.
I run synthetic gear oil 75W90 from Crappy Tire. You can buy a litre for less than half the price of the BRP 350ml bottle. It's just a chain & sprokets similar to a front wheel drive transaxle or a timing chain in an engine. I cannot believe such a simple chaincase unit requires such expensive...
