I'm in the same situation as you greatfanta. SXM cuts out whenever I don't have a clear southern path. It'll cut out if i pass big trucks on the highway if they're on my south side. Not impressed.
I know of three F-150's that had the rear axles break. That's just guys I work with. Not sure about the model years on the trucks. There is definitely an issue with the axles holding up under rough road conditions.
I got 1300km on my commander and only slipped the belt once and I run 28" Mudlites. It's all in how you drive. The only time mine is in high is high speed road riding. Other then that it's in low, especially when loading or unloading. Another thing that I do, is run with the CVT intake plastic...
So far, all these new parts look like they can be retrofited to a 2011 or 2012 if so desired. Which I think is a cool option for some weight savings. Definitely have to get myself those running boards if they are wider then my 2012's.
My primary spring broke also. I'm thinking its a bad batch of steel that they used, or tried to get away with using a lower quality steel. I upgraded to the SLP blue/pink spring.
Rode with mine for two days last weekend. First time my feet haven't froze. It was cold that weekend in Mcbride too.
My feet sweat a lot and I think the boots handled it well. I think they are everything they say they are. I like them so far. We'll see how the rest of the season goes. Just...
